About Us - Our Story: Creating Memorable Beach Getaways in Paradise

Welcome to our slice of paradise in St Croix, Virgin Islands! We are a passionate couple who fell in love with the island's beauty and decided to make a home in North Star.  It is our home and we love every bit of it.  North Star Villa Beach House or as we call it Casa Maia (house close to God) is a dream come true for us.  We purchased the abandoned property in 2014 and undertook major renovations.  Our beach house is not just our residence; it's a place where we invite guests to experience the same breathtaking views and serene surroundings that captured our hearts.

 

Every room is delicately designed and decorated by Barby utilizing reclaimed antique furniture.  Each item has a story behind it, a unique sense of belonging to the house, giving it an identity, a personality and a soul.  

 

With meticulous care, we've transformed our home into a comfortable and inviting vacation rental, perfect for those seeking a blissful escape. Our goal is to provide an unforgettable stay, with personalized touches and local recommendations to ensure an authentic Caribbean experience.
