The following are some of our key terms and conditions for renting the Villa.  If you are interested in renting, please contact us and we will provide a full set of all our terms and conditions, answer any of your questions, as well as provide any check-in and check-out procedures.

If you wish to reserve the Villa for your stay, a Booking Deposit of 50% of the total rental amount will be due immediately at booking.  The remainder is due when you check in.

No Security Deposit is required to rent the Villa. However if we do find  damages, missing items, long distance phone charges, or misuse of water and/or electricity North Star Villa reserves the right to send you a bill to cover those damages.

WIFI is included in the rate.  However, given that we are on an island, resources are very precious to us, especially water and electricity!  Please make sure to turn off water, lights, and appliances when not in use.  This will help us keep our rates down for others to enjoy.  

 

As you may know, air conditioning is a key factor in electric costs.  In fact, many homes/places on the island do not have or use air conditioning.  The Trade Winds that blow across the island help keep us cool.  However, for extra comfort we have air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms.  We have factored this usage into the rates whereby the air conditioning units for your room(s) can be turned on at night for extra comfort, but the air conditioning units must be turned off in the morning when you leave the bedroom and it is not occupied.  If a any time the property manager or cleaning staff stumbles upon a room with the air conditioner on during the day you will be charged an extra $100 to accommodate misuse of utilities.

Cancellation Policy:

Trip Cancellation Insurance or Air cover is highly recommended.  Vacation rental reservations are typically made far in advance and St. Croix is a highly-desired vacation destination.  When we reserve our Villa for you, we hold our Villa just for you, and must turn away any other guests.  As such, if you cancel for any reason, our cancellation policy is as follows:

If you cancel 5 days before your check in date you will forfeit your Booking Deposit of 50% .  If you cancel prior to the 5 days of check in we will give you a full refund of your Booking Deposit of 50%.
